Toni komt 27 september met een nieuw album en dan bestaat deze site ook nog eens 5 jaar. 5 jaar geleden heb ik als fan deze site opgestart. Toen hete het nog Toni Braxton Net, waarbij ik deze heb veranderd in Braxton Beauty. Meer over deze 5 jarige bestaan kun je snel vinden, plus nog iets! Snel meer!! TONI BRAXTON LIBRA DETAILS REVEALED
Toni Braxton returns to the international marketplace with Libra, her first album for Blackground/Universal Records. The disc is scheduled to hit store shelves September 27 and the first single, “Please,” is already burning up the Urban singles chart, where it is currently in the top 10.
The disc is Braxton’s first since her departure from Arista Records in 2003; a move that came after her 2003 release, More Than A Woman, had less-than-spectacular sales. In numerous interviews Braxton gave at the time, she seemed to insinuate that she was planning to retire from the music business. She also said that Arista was unhappy that she announced her then-impending pregnancy prior to the release of the album.
At the time, she told Groovevolt.com, “When I did the Vibe interview I was very discouraged and very disappointed. It was rumored the powers that be were upset about the pregnancy. This is a part of life. There is nothing I could change and I wouldn't." She added, "I'm going to be here for a while, making music. I just have realized that this is a business. Gladys Knight and Cher have been making music for more than 20 years. I plan to turn my 10 into 40 years or as long as I can go."
Braxton is promoting the new album aggressively. In addition to “Please,” which is also making an impact on Pop/Crossover radio, two new singles from Libra have hit the airwaves: the “official” second single, “That’s The Way Love Works (Trippin’)” and the buzz single “Take This Ring.”
The singer has been on a promotional tour since June. She has performed in Los Angeles, California; Detroit, Michigan; and the Hamptons in Long Island, New York. She also has a number of additional media appearances and performances scheduled, including a hosting spot at the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards (where she will co-host with Ciara and Brian McKnight), the World Music Awards, UNCF: Tribute to Stevie Wonder, and the BET 25th anniversary bash. In addition, VH1 Soul will devote September 27 to Braxton by hosting an album listening party.

Hier weer wat updates!
Nieuws over haar aankomende album en single en haar inbreng in een goed doel voor hartziekten in Amerika.
Toni strijd nu tegen hartziekten voor een amerikaanse organisatie genaamd “American Heart Association’”. Zelf kwam ze achter dat ze een soort aandoening aan het hart heeft en daarmee achterkwam dat dit nummer 1 staat van de doodsoorzaken in Amerika. Hiervoor de reden dat ze gaat inzetten voor dit doel.

Millions of people will help support women fight heart disease when they participate in American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women," when it gears up again this month.
To kick things off, the American Heart Association hosted "Go Red For Women" to honor women who are coping with heart disease and unveil their latest dresses that have been designed by celebrities who have been touched personally by these challenges. Five-time Grammy Award Winning pop superstar Toni Braxton appeared at the event in New York City to announce that she will be this year's spokesperson.
"I am glad to add my passionate voice to the American Heart Association's 'Go Red For Women' movement," Braxton said. "Heart health is not just part of my personal life, it has touched members of my family...When I was recently affected with a heart ailment, I realized that this subject is not to be put off [to] 'someday.' All women, mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends need to be aware that heart disease is the number one killer of women." Braxton was diagnosed with a heart ailment during her stay in New York after having heart pains on stage while performing in the Broadway musical Aida.
When Groovevolt.com reporters asked Braxton about her upcoming summer release, she responded, "The album should be out much earlier than June. I'm hoping for April." Members of Braxton's camp confirmed her thoughts by saying the single should be out sometime in March. The singer has just wrapped up the aforementioned set and will soon begin shooting episodes of her sitcom, which will be aired on WB this summer.

Het is nog even wachten geblazen, maar als alles meezit en de geruchten kloppen, dan komt Toni's nieuwe single uit in april van dit jaar en niet veel later het album. Mogelijk wordt haar nieuwe single: 'The Perfect Man' en is geproduceerd door Kwame. Dit is de tracklist wat al klaar moet zijn:
